Encounters include heartfelt music, teaching, prayer, and reflection. They can range from three hours to three days. We spotlight scripture on how to rest in His love personally, corporately, and in outreach. The Mid-Winter Encounter in Cedar Rapids was attended by 137 people, and photos appear in the right column of the front page. The Mid-Winter Conference in Sigourney was attended by over 50 people. A Come Rest Encounter took place in Vinton on April 12 and April 26, and on May 2-3 at the River of Life in Cedar Rapids.

Led by the Speights and friends of Come Rest, Encounters take the shape of retreats, conferences, or revivals--depending on the needs of your group, church, business, or city. We would delight in coming to your region.
